Econolodge Gateway - Kissimmee 192

Has anybody stayed at this hotel. I know it's 'cheap and cheerful (hopefully!) but any review would be useful.

Hi there!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel 13 years ago. I hope it has changed since then. When we stayed there the hotel was filthy, no hot water and bugs in the room.

We complained but got nothing to compensate. I guess it was a cheap hotel, we got what we paid for.

Like I said, I hope it is better now, than it was then.

Hi Disneyagain,

As far as I am aware this is not one of the better hotels in Kissimmie. I have never stayed here but know a few people who have and they have sworn never to return.
However, I don't want to ruin your holiday before it has even started, the hotel may have upgraded by now as hotels are being constantly upgraded in Orlando. I would check with FLAUSA etc to see if there have been any improvements.

Friends of ours were going to stayed there, but they walked in cancel their reservations and came over to Dixie landings where we we staying. They said the place was awlful. That was 3 years ago. You can stay on WDW for $90 so why stay off.
