New Holiday Inn Family Suites
Has anyone seen this on Nickelodean. This is a fabulous idea, and there is privacy for the adults as well as the kids.

Re: New Holiday Inn Family Suites
Yes, I've been there. If privacy is the need then it is a good place to stay. However, if your in the parks most of the time staying on site is still wwwaaaaayyyy better.
I stayed with my 5yr old, my mother and a friend. Everyone needed their own space as to not kill eachother. My mom is hypoglycemic and needs to be able to have a fridge and fix food at any time so she wanted the kitchen. They also wanted a table to seat 4 for games and meals. That is why we chose this because we could not afford a villa on Disney property. When I go back again with just my family of 4 we will be back in 1 room at the value resorts.

Re: New Holiday Inn Family Suites
We stayed there for 2 nights in Oct. It was very nice, and has a big bathroom. There were a couple of problems with the CD player and VCR in DD's bedroom, but they were exceptionally prompt in fixing it and even brought her a brand new CD player. I would stay there again as a good place to stay off-site, and they were undergoing construction while we were there. My DD adored the Kids Spa and if you look at our trip pics (on my my Trip report) you will see her braided hair. That and her nails were done at the kids spa and it lasted for almost 14 days (well after we were home and would have lasted longer, but she wanted me to take it down).

Re: New Holiday Inn Family Suites
Our family stayed at Nickelodeon and loved it! The price is up $150.00 more per night now of course and there is no more "free" breakfast buffet (kids eat free with a paying adult now). The rooms haven't changed other then new awesome murals. Our 1st room had the suite with the 2 twin beds...but while we were out the toilet flooded our room so they quickly moved all our belongings to another room 2 over from us that had bunkbeds. The kids loved this! Noise was never a problem (as i've heard from other ppl) probably because we were located in a section facing the parking lot. We also were given 2 free nights stay and 2 dinner vouchers to use at any part of our 2 week stay because of the toliet incident. The laundry facilities sure came in handy and since the suite had a small fridge, we bought a $2.00 styrofoam cooler from the grocery store (just min's away) and put all our liquids in it. Oh,...another reason we were offered those 2 nights stay and dinner vouchers were because i had complained that the linens on my bed were not changed for the 2nd morning in a row! I knew this because i had accidently dripped a dot of nail polish on the sheet while painting my daughters nails. The cleaning lady swore she changed all the linens but .... she didn't. (we got a new cleaning lady after that).
Anywho,...for our complete stay we all had a blast and the days we did not feel like leaving the hotel property were not a problem for the kids because of the 2 huge pool complexes and all the activities they offered. |
