Booked my Sea World tour today!

I just booked my Sea World " Adventure Express tour". I am SO pumped! It includes front of the line access to the rides, tour special seatings for shows, animal feedings, penguin experience (pet a penguin), and lunch. The tour is 6 hours long and starts at 10:30am. A private lunch is included and consists of a sanwich and salad bar, beverages and dessert. This is suppose to be $89 a person, but I only paid $138 total. I can't wait for my DD to get home from school so I can tell her!

Wow! What a great deal!

I know you'll love Sea World - it's such a beautiful park. It really is a nice break from the hectic pace of WDW. And the penquins are SO CUTE.

Sara is dying to touch them penguins. You may remember she has a slight obsession with that animal..lol This is the thing she is most excited about on this trip. I would be even more excited if you got to feed a shark. That would be COOL!

I am going to take a million pictures and tons of notes. I will report every single detail. It'll start with the drive there and all useless thoughts that go through my head on any given day..lol

You know us so well. That's the kind of report we like. Full of useless details... the color of the carpet, how many dairy queens you passed on the way to the airport. How long your flight was, did you eat any peanuts?, how many people were in line at the reception desk, how far of a walk to your room...we want it all.

I would also like to know how you got a discounted rate. We are going to be at SW on July4th and I have already booked Dine with Shamu! My dd and ds don't know, they are going to be so pumped. My cousin and his family did the tour at Thanksgiving and said it was worth every penny. Let us know about the rate you got.

That sound wonderful, Dana. I didn't even know that was an option at Sea World. Things have changed so much since I was there last, we haven't been there since '96 and we did just a half day there. We need to get back there for my DS but it's just so hard to leave WDW while we are there.

They must have been running a special or something. I got the confirmation letter in the mail on Friday and it shows me only being charged $69 per adult. I had no idea of the special. It wasn't advertised on the site and the price clearly said $89 per adult. I only found out it was going to be cheaper when I went to check out. Lucky I guess.

I agree. I have never had any desire to leave the WDW property to venture to anywhere. Maybe it's because it's the second trip in one year for me. I feel like I can't go off property for one day. I never would have considered this in the past. When you only get that one trip of year, I want it to be disney, dinsey and disney. This second trip isn't something I am going to repeat anytime soon. I picked this week because DD won't miss as much school as she would have if I went in January again. DD actually wants to try Universal the next time (*rolling eyes*). We'll see about that.

I am glad that your cousin and family enjoyed the tour and said it was worth it. I had to buy park admission on top of the price per person for the tour, so I hope it's worth all that money. The discount was a pleasant surprise. I had no idea they were running a special, for it wasn't advertised at all on the site. It was pure luck.
