What to do?
Hey all,
Still debating on weather to stay right in WDW for all 9 nights (we already have airfare to arrive and stay 9 nights next May), or possibly do something else for the first couple of nights and move on over to WDW for a 7 night stay. This is a money type decision. Nine nights in WDW seems like it just may be to expensive. Any ideas? We'll be arriving late on our first night (4 pm), so we only need somwhere to stay for 2 nights, and maybe something to do for 1 day. Thanks!!!!

Re: What to do?
I don't have experience with anything in FL outside of Disney, so my opinion may be a little biased...but I think I'd really like to spend the whole 9 nights in WDW if you could make it work! Could you possibly spend those 2 extra nights at a Value to cut down on cost?
Well, I don't have any suggestions other than WDW...I think the more time spent there, the better! Good luck making your decision Buzz!!

Re: What to do?
Buzz -
nine nights may be a tad hard on the budget. It would be for me anyway. You could always stay at one of values for a cheaper price and maybe spend the day at DTD. You can find plenty to do for a day down there that won't kill your money. Just looking in the different stores at the west end is fun. My DBf and I killed several hours down there and never bought a thing. You could hang out at your pool, check out DTD and call it an early night to get ready for your first day at WDW. Transfer your stuff in the morning to your resort. There is also the possiblity that you could rent a car and take the kids to Gatorland Zoo....that's a kick and not to expensive either. I would suggest the other theme parks, but think that would be just as expensive as going to the WDW parks.

Re: What to do?
hmmm, I am liking this idea of a split stay, and it could save a substantial sum of money while never having to leave WDW property.
Thanks guys!!!
