Icon7 Free entry to Seaworld and Busch Gardens.

A friend of ours has just gotten back from Orlando and said that they could get into Seaworld and Busch Gardens for free because they where in the UK Military.

The offer is part of the Heroes Salute programme which runs to the end of Dec 2005. See http://www.herosalute.com

All they had to do was show thier ID card and thier dependants needed thier passports.

A free trip to seaworld can't be bad!!

I don't know. My friends are in the UK navy. Take your ID card with you and have your family (only 3 close dependants allowed) take their passports and give it a try. You have nothing to lose. We will be trying it in December.

Good luck!!

All BG Parks are offering it through the end of this year to US military and family members. But I doubt they worry too much about the US part.

This is wonderful! Does Disney do anything like this?

Disney had a really good discount for active duty back in '03. The active duty member got a 5 day hopper for free and up to 4 dependents could get them for 99.00 each. That offer expired in December of '03. I think that last year they were having a similiar special for active duty members that had been to Iraq or Afganistan, but you had to bring your orders showing that you had been. I'm not sure of any current discounts, but if you are in the military you can get really great discounts on tickets for Disney and the other parks at your local MWR office.
