Anyone ever eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville?

For anyone that isn't aware, Jimmy Buffet's restaurant is located in Citiwalk.
So my 1st question is, do I need to buy park admission or pay any kind of admission to eat there?

I plan on going there my very 1st nite in Orlando.
We land about 7:30pm in Orlando Friday the 28th and Iam staying off-site that 1st nite so I was going to eat somewhere off-site. I always wanted to go to Citiwalk, and to eat at Emeril's would be wayyy tooo expensive! So I decided I would try Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. The restaurant looks like alot of fun!!!
I was wondering if anyone has been there and how is the food and prices?
I dont want anything expensive, but we will be hungry when we land and after we drop off our things at our hotel (which is in the Maingate area of Kissimmee), we will want to get something out to eat.
Any feedback would be appreciated!!

No, there's no admission to City Walk. it's before you get to the park entrances.

You do have to pay for parking if you go during the day. Afternoon and evenings are free with proof of dinner.

The food is very good, the atmosphere is fun and noisy. They often have live entertainment there as well.

They have a merchandise store there also. Lots of cool stuff.

Re: Anyone ever eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville?

Well, thanks a lot. I've never been there, but now I'm going to be singing the rest of the afternoon: "Wastin' away again in Margaritaville..."

Hmmm.... where's my blender?

I've been there and the burgers (and of course, MARGARITAS!!) were GREAT!!! It's definitely not too expensive. You will have a great time! Enjoy your "Cheeseburger in Paradise".

Re: Anyone ever eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville?

We went on two occasions (lunch and dinner) during our last visit, and both times the food was very good. After dinner, we stayed and watched a very good Jimmy Buffet tribute band, and did a little dancing, much to our children's dismay. Overall, an excellent time and good food. Go and enjoy.

I can tell you that my kids loved it every time we went. Teens and 9-10 yr old too. There's so much to see in there. They have music videos playing on a giant sailboat screen and there's a volcano at the bar that erupts every half hour or so to spew Margarita mix down the side of the mountain (on the wall) and down into a giant sized glass next to the bar.

They have also had people on stilts walking around the restaurant making balloon animals for the kids while we were there too.

And there's also a kids menu on a parrot face mask.

Re: Anyone ever eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville?

I agree with ddoll - all 4 of us LOVED it!!! My kids (10 and 7) want to go back just for the cheeseburger in paradise - They are still singing that song every time someone mentions a cheeseburger. Oh, and bring a marker for the bathroom walls. We had to borrow the waitress' pen, and it didn't work as well!

Can I put my glass up to the wall for refills?!

I was just going to say about the same thing. My kids love to eat there. They have a good time watching the volcano explode and since their DD and I both listent o our Buffet CDs, they know thet songs and have a good time there. The key lime pie is also pretty good.

Re: Anyone ever eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville?

The sad part is, last time we went with the older boys, we were walking across the park towards Margaritaville for a late lunch reservation. The Jimmy Buffet song came on over the loud speaker.

My 18 yr old DS came running up to my laughing, saying, "Mom, listen...it's a song about some guy getting wasted at Margaritaville!!"

I felt simply ancient explaining to him the restaurant was named after the song, and not the other way around.

My family eats at Margaritaville about once a month and my kids love it. They love the people that walk around on stilts making balloon hats and they also love the volcano erupting.

I forgot about that - my kids loved the stilt-walkers.
