Go Orlando Card?

Has anyone heard of this? It sounds like a good deal. There are over 50 attractions on this and you can do as many as you want. I am a local, but I am thinking about getting this. Have any of you ever used this?

I got one once, but never found a use for it. Being a local, I'm sure you'll find plenty more uses for it.

Re: Go Orlando Card?

Are you sure this is the same one? This one is pretty new in the area and they give you free admissions in attractions. You can buy days and use them as you like. The free admission into Kennedy Space Center and Cypress Gardens is what is attracting me.
Is there another discount card in Orlando that has free admissions that I don't know about?

No. The card I got was free several years ago. You sent away for it. It offered discounts on several area attractions. I was pretty sure it was called Go Orlando, but who knows? It sure wasn't what you're describing.

Oh, ok, I know which one you are talking about. I've gotten that one too. This one offers discounts too along with free admissions into places like Kennedy Space Center, WonderWorks, Gatorland, etc. It sounds like a good deal if you want to save some money and do other stuff besides the big parks.

Very interesting... I, too, had only heard of the discount card prior to this. Sounds like a great way for the lesser (but still great) attractions of the area to entice visitors.

I wouldn't get it for just those two admissions, the Cypress Gardens one day ticket is only $38 and the KSC Maximum Access one day ticket is only $37 dollars. You would have to buy the 7-day Go Orlando ticket at the reduced price to break even. Each place also offers yearly or seasonal passes that save you a bunch of money and allow you to go for more than just 7 days.

Also, a lot of the other attractions around Orlando are about this price ($35)or lower, so to make it worthwhile, you would have to visit two or three each day you use the ticket.

Re: Go Orlando Card?

But you could do 3 or more things in one day because the I-drive attractions are really close to each other. Ok, I just added it up. If you bought the 3 day card you could use it like this
Day 1- International Drive
WonderWorks- 20.00
Ripley's- 20.00
Titanic- 18.00
FunSpot- 30.00
Trainland- 8.00 (sounds interesting, lots of model trains, my son would love this)
Hawaiian Rumble Mini Golf- 10.00
* That adds up to 106.00 for the first day alone!
You could spend all day on I-drive, most of these attractions are open till midnight.
Day 2- Kennedy Space Center- 37.00
Daytona USA- 23.00
Day 3- Cypress Gardens- 38.00
Arabian Nights Dinner Show- 50.00

Ok. that adds up to a 254.00 value! The price of the 3 day card is only 159.00, and right now it is on sale for 129.00. That sounds better than any Florida discount out there. You also have 14 days to use the card, which is good if you didn't want to do everything back to back and wanted to put a day in at Disney or Universal.
It's got Miami attractions on there too, in case you are planning to split your stay there.
