a few questions.
how long are you staying?

where are you staying?

we have a seaworld here in texas and we usually spend 2 days there each time we go to san antonio, but i know my kids would not want to miss disney to go to sea world.

:)

mouseof3, welcome to DisneyCentral. One thing you should look at is that Universal has a combo pass that allows you three day's entrance in to either of the Universal parks, Sea World or Busch Gardens in Tamps (or something like that, it keeps changing). They also have shuttles that run back and forth between the parks. It is much cheaper to go that way rather than buying individual tickets.

Also, the Universal hotels, have a "Fastpass" type system, where if you are staying in one of the Universal resorts, you get to walk to the front of the line. It would be worth it if you are thinking of going for a couple of days and it is going to be during a busy time.

Yes it's worth it.

I also suggest you try "Dine with Shamu" also. It's about $30 per person for an All you can eat American/Tropical Buffet. But the main thing is getting to sit right next to the Killer Whale Training Tank and have the trainers and whales praticing right beside you while you eat. It is an awesome experience. The whales will ride trainers by you, raise and lower in the water, and possible come on shore right beside your table. It is wonderul and well worth the cost to get in. Be sure to take a camera and the wait staff will snap some pictures of you as the whales perform behind you. If you decide to do it, get your seats early, it is extremly limited and only occurs once per day. :D

It is worth it. It has definetly changed in 6 years. We went to Sea World 2 years ago and it had changed alot since the last time we went. They had more rides and we had a great time. IT WAS REALLY HOT! We went in July (will never do again) and I swear it was 100 degrees in the shade! Your kids will have a great time so it is worth it.

My eight year old loved Sea World and was so-so on Universal Studios. She doesn't like big rides and Universal is more of a 'thrill' park then a 'theme' park in my opinion. With ones that small I would suggest going to Sea World and skipping Universal. Just MHO!! :D
