What do you know about hotel Cypress Pt?
Well, my brother who was going to come down last year is coming at the end of February. As he gets off the plane, we are literally going to Disney World!!!! :p I really cannot wait!! He hasn't been in 20 years so it will be like the first time.
Unfortunately, none of the Marriott villas are available near Disney. We had such a nice time at New Year's in the Royal Palms that I was hoping to stay there again. Anyhow, I think our next best bet is to try Cypress Pointe. The rates are very reasonable, the location is perfect, the rooms seem very nice, and they are easily accessible. Has anyone stayed at this resort or know anything about it? If so, would you please post some info about it? Thanks. :)

Fifi, there are two, do you know which one you are staying at? There is the Cypress Pointe Resort at Lake Buena Vista and the Cypress Pointe Resort GrandeVillas.
I belong to a site that reviews Timeshare resorts, and both of them are highly rated. The grandevillas was rated at 8.81 out of 10 and the other one was 8.66. That is very good, and they both had a lot of reviews, so it isn't skewed by one or two reviews. To give you an idea, the Marriott Royal Palms was rated at 8.95, so not much difference. Let me know which one you are looking at and I will email you the reviews. (By they way, Disney's Boardwalk Villas are rated at 9.8 and Old Key West is 9.6)

Wow, thank you so much! It is the property located at Lake Buena Vista.
I am very happy to know of the high rating. When we first rented a villa last summer at Blue Tree Resort, I thought that place was great. Now that I have been to Marriott's villas, I know that Blue Tree has many downfalls that other locations are not going to have. So far it seems like Cypress Pointe will not disappoint.
