Which Vacation Home rental company????

My family of 5, my parents, and my sister and brother in law are all going to WDW this year and we have decided to stay at a vacation home. I have read here that some of you have stayed in a home before. There seems to be a lot of vacation home management companies out there and I was wondering what the best one was or what was the best way to go about getting a home? Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

We only used a company once, and that was because we needed an extra large house for a large group.

All the other times we rented from individual home owners. I prefer that because you get to see the actual house you will be staying in. When you go to a company, they generally show a model home in the website ads and then in small print say that you will get a home that is similar.

Try cyberrentals.com and search the area around Disney. If you don't find what you want there, go to google and do a search of rental homes, Disney area Florida, and the number of bedrooms you need.

We stayed at a vacation house and it was gorgeous, but we rent it from a person not a company, I can pm you their website if you would like? There's a bunch of pictures of the house in my trip report.

We used FanFare Properties in 2005 and rented a wonderful home offseason for just under$100 a night

Just a note to you when looking at homes: check out that map in my link and try to get into homes in that area that is to the left side of the map. You can save yourself a lot of commute time by staying in that area. There is a shortcut into the Animal Kingdom area there (at Sherberth Rd) that allows you to bypass all the traffic.

We have also booked directly with an owner for Windsor Hills. The place looks amazing.
