this question is orlando related.

I would like to know if Wonder Works and the Orlando science center is worth the trip to visit? Also, has anyone stayed ay Orange Lake Resort. I am using my mom's timeshare this summer. It looked big and tons of stuff to do. I would love some feed back on those places. What else do you do in orlando that may be fun for the whole family(two or three family's actually). We probably will not hit any theme parks because it may be a bit too hot. Thanks you all.

Re: this question is orlando related.

We stayed ar Orange Lake years ago (Dec 94). It was a relaxing trip for us. The resort was nice. We did not like our room as it was near the washing machine, but that was just our room.

I paid for Tim to go water skiing on Christmas day - they thought we were nuts as it was cold We were the only people on the lake.

Cant help you with Orlando much though, except for Church Street Station at night, and I am sure that has changed since the last time we were there.

Re: this question is orlando related.

No idea on the orlando stuff, but we stayed at Orange Lake in October. We had one of the condos (2 BR) - it was nice. One suggestion, if they offer you a tour of the resort - its really a sales push to buy your own (we were using our grandfathers). It was pretty close to the parks, and really close to a publix. We'd go there again if we use his timeshare again.

I moved this to orlando attractions forum for you. I have no idea about the place you are asking about, but it does sound pretty cool!

emamasa, can you give me some info on the resort. were the rooms nice. How were the activities? Did you like the pools? Anything about the place would be quite helpful.

Re: this question is orlando related.

I work at Orange Lake in the sales department processing all the paperwork for timeshare sales. It's a gorgeous resort! Make sure you check out the River Island area. It's basically a waterpark within the resort (and it's free!). Lots of fun! I also recommend the River Island Grilling Company for a meal. The food is excellent!

If you have any specific questions about Orange Lake, I may be able to answer them. I will at least try. I don't know everything about the place because it's HUGE, but super nice.

Re: this question is orlando related.

I do have a few questions. Can I choose which village I go in? Which village do you recomend? We have 3 or 4 familys going with us and have 2 rooms how can I keep us as close as possible to stay together. I see they have night time entertainment, Luau, country western night, etc. any suggestions?

Re: this question is orlando related.

I have no idea about choosing rooms, because I am not sure how that works. I would suggest calling the resort to find out more. The number is 407-239-0000.

However, I can give suggestions on entertainment. I haven't been personally to the luau, but I hear it's lots of fun so I would recommend it. Orange Lake does a really good job with always having lots of guest activities and all the ones I have been to have been fun. Spend some time exploring the resort when you have some down time. There is so much to do there.
