Sea World

We are trying to do a day at Sea World this trip. What is the best way to get to Sea World? We are staying at Pop Century. Should we rent a car for the day or do a cab? Is there a bus maybe? Please help!

Re: Sea World

We always rent a cab - it definitely adds to the cost of the trip over to Sea World but it is nice to be able to stay as long as you want and there is always a line of cabs waiting when you decide to leave.

FYI: We once took advantage of the free shuttle from a hotel to Sea World but the drop off and pick up times were not necessarily conducive to our own time table of exploring the park.

Re: Sea World

Thanks. I was wondering about getting a cab when we were ready to leave. Nice to know that they are there waiting.

Nikki -
The last time I went to Sea World, I just got a towncar for the day. It will cost you just about as much as a cab will and you can have a pick up/drop off time making it super convienant. Contact Quicksilver, our sponcer here at mousebuzz, gregory will hook you up.

Re: Sea World

I never thought of Quicksilver. We used them to and from the airport the last few times we went. They are great. I will have to remember to use them.

Definately book them. Like I said, the price is comparable to a taxi, but far more personable.

Re: Sea World

Last time, we rented a car just for the day. This time we may take the lynx bus from the TCC to sea world. I have heard that it is $1.50 per person and that they run about every 30 minutes. It is the #50 bus.

A bus would probably be longer.

Re: Sea World

Does anyone know a rough cost estimate if one were to use Quicksilver?
