Wow... I don't even remember if I was big enough to ride Back to the Future when we went...I was 8 years old and a sissy.

Can't say I'l miss the right, but SG is right; what on earth is a Simpsons ride doing in Universal?

My brother would be extremely pleased, though. It'll be hard to keep him in Disney when we visit Florida.

He's a fan to the core.

I just read that "The Simpson's Ride" is doing a soft opening (whatever that means

) on May 15 & 16. We'll be there during that time so I am sooo excited. I hope its the "best ride ever".

I used to love the Back to the Future ride. It was so fun. You would remember it. Great ride.

Simpson's "jumped the shark" so long ago, I can't imagine this being a draw to the park.

The ride was fun, but MAN IT MADE MY STOMACH QUEEZY. Plus in each scene there was too much happening so fast you didn't know what to focus on. Still, it was a lot smoother than Back to the Future. They even have an homage to the old ride in the queue while watching Simpsons clips.

Glad to hear it's less jolting than BTTF. That was my biggest complaint about it. Looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Back to the Future wasn't so bad the first couple times I rode it in 96. Next time I rode (early 97), it gave me a headache. Over time, I found it wasn't so bad in the front seat as in back. But yes, over time, the ride, the actual riding of the car, got sloppier and sloppier, like a car whose steering linkages were barely connected and holding together and the steering box is coming loose from the chassis and was in such bad need of replacement shocks and springs because there aren't any currently, as it drives down those 10 miles of bad road that you said that ugly girl's face reminded you of.

(I really hope I didn't confuse more people with that description)

I'm not sure if I want to race to check it out, or just keep it on the back burner until Halloween Horror Nights.
