And notice it says it's for 7 days this year, not 5 as I thought. That is so worth it! The 2 park 1 day pass is $74, so for $5 more you can get in for a week.

Yikes - sounds impressive. But the only thing I do on roller coasters is scream and hang on for dear life, eyes closed, praying "please be over, please be over". I don't think I'd be any good programming songs, etc. while it was going on!

When this coaster opens in 2009, Hulk and the Dragons will be 10 years old!
Regardless, Kraken remains the tallest, baddest coaster in Orlando for now and is only 8 feet shorter than the new one will be. The tallest coasters in Florida are Sheikra (200) and Montu (150).
It's long past time NBC Universal and Blackstone started pumping money into new rides.
By the way, the real Rock and Roller Coasters are opening at Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, the premier ride being a Led Zeppelin roller coaster from the masters of steel, Bolliger and Mabillard and is 50 feet taller than RnRCoaster.
They still need to add more rides in IOA despite changing out Hitchcock for Shrek, King Kong for The Mummy, Hanna Barbara for Jimmy Neutron, and Back to the Future for The Simpsons in the Universal park.
