Ok everyone! I finally figured out what I am doing today so tell me what ya think.

This trip will have
Me (kate) 28
Megan DD 10
Madison DD 7
Ryan Nephew 8
I live in NJ

I will be leaving my house Dec 26 and driving to Pennsville to pick up Ryan by 8 am then its off on Interstate 95 for the next 11 hours.
Im going to drive the straight 11 hours stopping only for gas and perhaps if the kids are good some food
Get to Savannah/pooler Ga and get a room. I should be there by 7-8 ish.
Relax and get some sleep.
get up on the 27th and drive the rest of the 4.5 hours to Kissimmee Fl.
Check in at Howard Johnson Main gate East and unwind.
Chill and go swimming and then perhaps to DTD and go to the resorts to check out the Christmas decorations.
Dec 28 MK. I dont have hopper tickets this time so I will only be doing I park per day.
Dec 29 HS
Dec 30 Epcot
Dec 31 Mk again for the best Ny's eve ever!!!
Jan 1 AK
Jan 2 whatever park the kids want to go back to
Jan 3 start driving home and maybe stop at seaworld.
get a room that night at south of the boarder and should be home by the 4th

How much $ should I take for food and what not if not on the DDP? I plan on $2000.00 after the hotel is pd for. I only need $300 for gas.
I got the HO JO for $360 for 7 nights. Is that ok or should I try to beat that?

Your plans sound great! $360 for 7 nights??? AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

We drive too, but I could NEVER imagine doing the drive by myself with 3 kids. You go girl!!!!

Thanks guys! I have ADRs for Ohannas,Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace and 1900 park fare but Im thinking about only doing Chef Mickeys becuase Im afraid to leave the park in case it fills up to capacity

So, you'll basically have 1500 give or take for food in the park after two rooms there and back, gas and food along the way...

If my calculations are correct, that's a little bit over 53 dollars a day per person. That seems right to me if you can eat conservatively and buy conservatively.

Well... I was going to do $2000 after Hotel.

I was going to figure
$360 hotel in FL (not included)
$100 hotels in Ga going to WDW and in va coming home
$600 food. Im going to bring a ton of snacks,water, and things like that
$500 spending for me which I will probally not use. My DD each have $250 thats not included from birthdays and going to be Christmas
My nephew has his own $250 as well

I think I may be ok. I figure we will eat in the room some kind of breakfast thing and take water and flavored packets and snacks into the park. My nephew doesnt like popcorn and such. He is cool with a bag of chips all the time so I will be bringing that as opposed to spending $3.00 in the parks.

This also doesnt include my Christmas money. my DH and I usually do $500-$800 every year so I told him to get me disney dollars and my mom as well so Im looking at an extra $1000 that isnt included in the price above..

I think Im just getting nervous over nothing

It sounds like you will be good with finances. Your hotel savings and driving over flying are huge savings!

Thanks! Im just scared I wont have enoght money but Im always like that. Sometimes when I stay onsite and on DDP I bring $2000 and still think its not enough but I always come home with at least half!

Im only kidding I will stop for food for them BUT they better eat it fast cause we need to get to WDW ASAP
