Re: Should I try seaworld?

I was thinking of going next trip as well. I was going to do Universal too but I do believe that will be too much so maybe WDW & SW this time and WDW & Universal next time

Re: Should I try seaworld?

I say yes to this. I love Seaworld as do my family. I don't think we have ever utilised the return for free during the 14 days promotion etc as once each vacation is enough to visit there IMO but I couldn't come to Orlando and not go there. If anything, just so I can ride the Kracken and see the dolphins.

Absolutely. There are some great rides there. And some fish.

Re: Should I try seaworld?

Is it a big savings if you buy the tickets ahead of time? What if you plan to go to Sea World the last day, but if something changes you can just stay at Walt Disney World. If plans don't change, then you can just buy the tickets at the gate and not feel tied down.

Re: Should I try seaworld?

I think you would love Sea World. Its a beautiful park with beautiful animals, shows and some great rides. Definitely worth checking out. If you are going on your last day I wouldn't rush through it; give yourself enough time to take it slow and enjoy the park.

Re: Should I try seaworld?

When we were at Disney in the summer our waitress at Rose and Crown told us there was a place you could sample free beer at Seaworld. Traveling alone with three kids you might need this

Up at the Busch Beer Gardens, you get 1 or 2 free half-pint samples per adult, plus you can take a really interesting class and become honoroury brew-masters with a certificate and everything!

Re: Should I try seaworld?

Depends on how old your kids are. I would say if they are at least 4 and older they will really enjoy it. They will love the dolphin meet and greet.

Re: Should I try seaworld?

We did a day at Sea World on our last trip and I really liked it, but often thought that if we'd do it again we'd have to get 2 day tickets. Though the park is nice and very well-kept, it just isn't set up as well as a Disney park. Rather than being orderly, Sea World is set up more like a maze and it's too hard to get from here to there, to see certain shows at the times they are available, etc.
If you're not worried about seeing it all and can do some research and know exactly what you hope to see in your one day, then I'd say "go for it". We didn't get to do all we had hoped, but what we did see and do was much fun.

This is our favorite too. It just cracks me up thinking about it

Luckily we have season tickets to Busch Gardens so we have admission to all the Busch Parks (or I hope I still do since the whole sale of the company thing) So SeaWorld is our 1st day and last day park.

We love SeaWorld so if you can afford it I think your children would love it. Don't forget to feed the dolphins and sting rays.

Re: Should I try seaworld?

This is from SeaWorlds site for the fun card. Also AAA is $232 for 4 people (all the same price regardless of age) The Fun Card would let you go for more than just the last day.
I looked at the site for passholders for Busch Gardens but there are no discounts offered there, sorry

2008 SeaWorld Fun Card

Florida’s best entertainment value is back! Pay for a day, and come back all year to enjoy all the sights and splashes of SeaWorld Orlando with a 2008 SeaWorld Fun Card. Enjoy unlimited general admission through December 31, 2008 for only $69.95 for adults and $59.95 for children ages 3-9. How much fun can you have for the price of one day? Find out! Add Busch Gardens or Adventure Island to your SeaWorld Fun Card and double your fun.
