Discovery Cove? Is it worth it??

While we are in Orlando we were thinking about going to Discovery Cove. I absolutely LOVE Dolphins and snorkling and would like someones opinion if this is worth the $$$$. We swam with Dolphins on our trip to Mexico in April and it was amazing. I would like my children to experience it, but it is not cheap!!! Has anyone done this?? Is the snorkling good? Is the water cold or is it bearable?? Does anyone know of where I can get discounts for Discovery Cove??? And most importantly is it worth giving up a day at WDW??? Thanks Jennifer

Jennifer, I personally have not done this, but my SIL has done it 2x and loves it!! She said it is a must do if you are water type person. I hope do it next year, when we do our week at WDW.
I would definately say it is worth leaving WDW for the day for.

I haven't done it yet either, but really want to... it sounds way worth the money. Not to mention you get a meal and a week of free entry into SeaWorld. It has to be worth much more. Don't forget the crowds are very limited too.

I saw a piece on the Travel Channel about Discovery Cove and it looked like it would be wonderful if you can afford it I would go for it. An experience you would never forget .
