Re: Please help me choose (poll)

Option 1 sounds like a much better value, as long as the hotel rooms are comparable and safe.

Re: Please help me choose (poll)

Simple breakfast items would do it for me. I would rather get counter service for lunch and eat a light breakfast.

OK all! I have decided to do option one for the fact that it DOES save me $ to be used in the parks. Next time I will not wait last minute to go to WDW so I will be able to stay onsite and use DDP

Re: Please help me choose (poll)

I would have picked option 2 as long as the shuttles are convenient, otherwise you have to pay for parking every day. I would take option 2 for the food convenience and shuttle.

Re: Please help me choose (poll)

I'd go with Opt 1 if it saves you money. However, you don't have shuttle service to the parks, Seaworld, etc..How much will that cost you? Renting a car will cost you about $35 a day plus orlando gas is now at $5.49. Have you ever thought of Opt. 3? You mentioned you want to go to Seaworld. A few years ago we stayed at the Marriott Residence at the Seaworld entrance. There's the Marriott courtyard also further in. It was an absolutely gorgeous hotel at only $220. a night. The buffet downstairs is absolutely wonderful. They have free shuttle service to WDW, shopping..the pool is like a tropical getaway with a pizza hut. There's laundry service & if you make them a list they'll grocery shop for you. I haven't been there in a few years so granted their prices may have gone up but it's worth looking into. Oh and there's little kitchens in the rooms with a little kitchen set.

Re: Please help me choose (poll)

Okay, I think I'm more awake today than I have been the past...2 weeks. So I just read this much better and I also would go with the plan not including breakfast. Go for quick breakfasts and a few Charecter meals.
But my question which I tried to glance though and see if it was already asked and couldn't find it...Why aren't you staying on site? Extra Magic Hours are only for Disney Resort guests. So you'll lose out on that.

Re: Please help me choose (poll)

Good question GEMDISNEY had. Why aren't you staying on Disney property? There's something for everyones budget, you get EMH, transportation, etc., etc..

Just saw this, did you try to get in or just figured there was nothing. That's why I like DVC, I can get on a waitlist incase something comes up.

Option 1, but don't cook. Bring bagels, muffins, cereal bars, etc. as others have suggested.
