Re: Halloween Horror Nights

And the thing is with Universal you know up front that this is extreme!! I would be terrified and wouldnt want to go at all, but for those who like being scared half to death it must be terrific fun!

Re: Halloween Horror Nights

I found it's a lot less scary if you really take it in and look around in the haunted houses. If you're walking fast and looking scared the scareactors will target you and you'll be terrified.

The biggest scare I had there was when a scareactor popped up right in my face and then another shot me in the back with an air rifle at the same time. I screamed so loud. My DH laughed and laughed.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights

The startle factor is the biggest scream inducer for me. I can always be counted on (to the delight of my sons) to scream when something startles me.

But the biggest reaction I saw last year was one of the chainsaw guys chased a girl down the street, revving his chainsaw. That girl ran blindly down the street screaming at the top of her lungs, almost plowed another woman down with her. I thought she would jump into the water to escape him, but she turned a corner instead.

Entertaining to watch, but I'll bet it took her a while to calm down. LOL
