Disney Cruise Food Question

It's been a few years since I've been on a cruise, but since we're dealing with the Di$ney company here, I was wondering if anyone could clear something up--

Is there a charge for meals on the Disney Cruise ships or are they included. And by meals I mean everything from the buffet to the special dining to the pizza -- if I remember correctly from a non- Disney cruise, the only thing that you had to pay for were drinks (and since I don't I saved a bundle).

Can anyone verify for me that the meals are included with price of admission? DGF doesn't believe it's possible.
Thanks

:) :) :)

It's been a couple years since I was on my Disney Cruise, but all I remember paying for was the drinks, all the food was free. Well, free in the sense you don't pay anymore than the price to get on the cruise. :) We bought our refillable mugs and it doesn't cost anything to fill those with beverages over and over again. I think they were something like $20 each.

yep it is included

all your meals on the Disney cruise are included in the price. That includes buffets, room service, counter service, pizza, fancy restaurants, you name it. Alcoholic beverages are not included and there is a charge for soft drinks any time other than during meals. You can buy an unlimited, refillable drink mug, for a seven day cruise thay are around 30$. The only food that would cost extra is popcorn and candy at the evening shows. As a matter of fact your waiters will bring three appetizers, two entrees and four desserts for dinner if you want them, with no extra charge. My darling husband, Mickey, proved this on our cruise in December.

Thanks so much! I thought so - but she thought it sounded too good to be true.
Sounds like a pretty super deal. Have any of you gone on the trips without going to the parks? (the 7 day one). We want to get away, but since we're always going to WDW, we thought we'd do something a *little* different this time :) and go on the boat to a few different spots. Since we know how much the WD co. takes care of it's guests, we feel we might as well cruise with Mickey if at all. Just in the planning stages right now, but thanks for the input.
