cheap hotel off site for 8 hrs??

Can some one recommend a cheap, nice hotel not far from Disney? We will be arriving in Orlando by car around 1 am and I was looking for a place until we can check into CBR. Any suggestions???

There is a Comfort Inn in Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway that has rate of around $40.00 or under per night.

If you have children, they have like a "kidsuite" where there are 4 bunk beds for the kids and one queen size bed for the adults.

That is about the only "cheap" hotel that I know about. I have personally stayed there before and it is clean. Although it's been about 3 years ago.

I know that I wouldn't want to spend very much money for just a few hours.

but we're going to stay at All Star Music the night we get in. It's about $90 for the night (I know there are cheaper out there - we priced them and almost booked a few until we read revies on Travelocity, that's what changed our minds). When we wake up, we're off to WL. (can't wait):laugh

We are looking for the same thing...a cheap but clean motel/hotel to stay in when we arrive in Orlando. I still haven't decided where we are staying. Some places have a 'cancel 24 to 48 hours before 4 pm' policy that I don't want. I can't predict that we will make it all the way and I don't want to pay for a room that we don't use. I am thinking about the Thriftlodge by Travelodge. It is about 10 miles from WDW and only $28.48 per night, just what I'm looking for for a few hours rest before we check in at WL.

but I was also looking into the Motel 6 or Super 8 that are relatively close..the rooms quoted at 29.95 & 33.95 online...Has anyone stayed at either of these...

Plans may be changing anyway DH is going to see if he can get off a day earlier so we would just drive in and arrive around 2-3 pm so I may start to look for something at DTD before checking into the CBR... Any room only discounts codes available for CBR yet? What about DTD rooms anyone know any good rates there?

what about the Marriot by DTD. a few weeks ago a lot of people were talking about the promo they were running, I think it was around $23.00 per night. You might try to give them a call I think you just have to ask them for the $23.00 per night promo, hopefully it is still available.:D

If you are going to arrive around 2-3pm, I would get another night at the CBR. Check-in time for rooms is 3-4pm, so there is a good chance you could get right into your room, get settled in, and have a easier start to your next day.

This is a good idea, last time we went to DL we did the 2 hotel in 24 hour thing and it about made us nuts!!! If possible I would get a room at CBR and be ready for the day when you get up rather than having to change hotel's.:)

We had to change our travel dates b/c of my best friend's wedding so now we will arrive on 10/10 and go straight to CBR...
