I have not stayed at the property, BUT I will also be staying there in August with my family.

I was told by a Marriott Time Share holder that a person should call a day or two in advance and ask for a recently refurbished room. As I understand it, they are currently and have been refurbishing all the rooms on the property over a period of time.

That's all the info I know.

Looks like a nice place!

Vellamint,

Also, you could check www.vacationclub.com and find the Marriott Cypress Harbour location. If you haven't been to this site, they have alot of information and photos.

I have stayed at Grand Vista, which is just around the corner, and was built just prior to Cypress Harbor. It was a couple of years ago, but the units were nice, the resort was fun and it was nice to be able to sit on the huge balcony and look over the golf course. Of course, it isn't Disney, but it was nice, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Really - a refurbished room?! I hope that doesn't mean that the unrefurbished rooms are uggghhh!

I have read nothing but great things about this place! Now I am worried....I am not an owner...I am renting from a friend who traded in from Interval International!
