Do you want to REALLY be scared?

If anyone out there loves the really scary stuff for Halloween...the gruesome spook houses you might want to check this out. It is not for children at all
It is at Universal. Personally I don't like to be really scared. Just got this in an email and thought that someone might!:dazed
SORRY I PUT THIS THREAD IN THE WRONG

How Ironic.....as I was reading your post...there was a commercial on the Travel Channel showing it.....my goodness I am such a chicken!! I couldn't even handle the commercial.

I hate scary movies (I think I watched toooooooo many as a teenager!) I got scared in that silly witch movie with Bette Midler....I think it was called Hocus Pocus....

You COULD NOT PAY ME to go through that spook house, let alone me pay them to go in it! NO WAY!!!

BDavis: I am with you all the way. I could never bring myself to go in haunted houses (except the fun MK one!) One time in PoC a long time ago the line was very long and dark. A CM was standing in a corner and reached out and touched me and I screamed like crazy! Just thought some brave soul might enjoy this type of stuff. (someone much younger than me!)

I did this about 6 years ago -- While not exactly "scared to death", it was quite brutal... Chainsaw guys chasing you around the park, and haunted rides that were very creepy. I can't even remember the real rides that nite, though I know we must have gone on them, because I remember my date being very frightened of the whole thing, and thinking T3 was cool, so we had to have gone.
This is definitely for hardcore scare freaks. Personally, I'm looking forward to the "not so scary" one. :-)

Universal's Halloween Horror Nights are really a blast. It's definitely not for children, but the folks at Universal manage to create a pretty creepy atmosphere while still maintaining a sense of humor about the whole thing.

Admittedly, though, Universal jacked up the scary stuff when Halloween Horror Nights moved from the main theme park to Islands of Adventure last year. This year they're promising an even more intense experience. Still, DW and I usually go with another couple and have a great time.

Hey Park Hopper, I will be down there when they have it but think I would really freak if someone chased me with a chain-saw. Sometimes the difference between pretend and reality become a little thin! But, I would love to hear about it. We are definitely going to go to AOL, but not on one of those days! :dazed

Ah, you could handle it, LRTJS. They don't really chase you. The guys in costume pop out in front of you and rev their chain saws and then they retreat. It happens so ofen that after awhile you don't even pay attention to them anymore.

Yeah, I'm going to Cedar Point tommorow for the Halloweekends event. It isn't supposed to be half as bad as the Universal Halloween Horror Nights. There are three haunted houses, two fright zones, and magic shows. I really wanted to go to WDW for their halloween celebrations, but one thing led to another and I couldn't go. Maybe next year;)
