When to book?

We are planning our first WDW trip for our family of 5 on January 9th. I haven't booked yet and was wondering when the best time is? I'd like to stay onsite but for a family of 5 on a budget there seems to not be much of a choice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'd book right away. If there are any discounts you can always apply them to your reservation at any time.

The best (budget) place on site for a family of 5 would be Port Orleans Riverside. As long as one of your family members is small enough to sleep on the trundel bed. (some of the rooms have two double beds plus a small "trundle" bed that pulls out from under one of the double beds)

Have you taken a look at the Winter Dream Maker Package? It is a discounted package and it really does save some money. For the Values it is $99 per person per night. For POR I think it is right around $129 per person per night (this is the adult price the child price is lower). I would advise contacting Mousketrips (their link is on the front page) they are great and Keith will do everything he can to get you the best price available

DON"T HESITATE you need to book now because I think many of the onsite rooms for this discounted package are filling up quickly.

Book a.s.a.p. think abt buying a annual pass for one person so you can get huge discounts on your room. We're saving abt $140 per night at the POLY. :D

I think the Winter Dream Maker package offering is over, isn't it? I thought the last day they were offering it was this past Monday...but I could TOTALLY be mistaken! If anything, the Annual Pass is a good idea, too! You can buy just ONE annual pass and get room discounts for 3 rooms! And if you plan on going to the parks for 8 days or more, you have already paid for your AP and more! This is a good idea to use if you plan another trip in the next 12 months...and the AP deals are GREAT!!! We are also saving $200 a night for the Poly Lagoon View in December! ;)
