Off-site stay

I have booked a room at the Villas of Polo Park listed as being in Davenport, FL and only 7 miles from DW? I haven't been able to find many reviews on the net.

Anybody got any info on that location? Am I in for a pleasant surprise, or will get a sinking feeling in my stomach when I arrive?

I think Davenport is a bit farther than 7 miles from WDW. I think it's about a 30-40 minute drive from WDW.

Not sure but just keep in mind that most hotels advertise being close to disney but that probably just means there are 7 miles from the main entrance from there depending on which park you are going to, you could be driving another 5 miles.

Ohh and parking...if you have park hopper tickets and plan to visit other parks your parking receipt is good all day at any park.

Davenport is located in Polk County southwest of Orlando between Kissimmee and Winter Haven along Highway 17 near Lake Tohopekaliga and Lake Marion. Davenport is part of the Lakeland-Winter Haven, Florida metro area.
