Splendid China to close it doors

just saw it on the news down here that the splenndid china amusement park in kissimmee on 192 just west of disney is closing. its last day of operation will be wed dec 31. the company cited a downturn in tourism for the reason to close the doors.

What did Splendid China have? We always passed it on 192 coming in and we always wonder what the heck it is.

it was a theme park based on china it had acrobats and chinese food above and beyond that can't tell you becuase event though its under 5 mins from my apt I never went.

Often times Splendid China only had about 100 guests in the park! Apparently a concept that was not exciting enough for most.
