Anyone ever stay at Days Suites at Old Town?
I have been doing some research on the web for a 3 to 4 day trip to WDW in Late February or early March. It would include myself, DW, DD7, DD5, DS5 and DD Newborn.
I found a Resort, Days Suites at Old Town ,that offers a very good rate for this time period. Each 3 room suite sleeps up to 6. There is a bedroom with 2 double beds, a full kitchen and a living room with a Murphy bed. There is a sofa but it doesn't mention if it is a sleeper or not. It is located just 2 miles from the WDW main gate and is next to Old Town, which supposedly has 75 shops, 8 restaurants and 18 amusement type rides. It mentions that all Days Suites guests receive free ride passes and $300.00 worth of discounts to Old Town shops and restaurants. It does offer scheduled transportation to WDW, Universal and Sea World. I did see mention that the resort is only rated with 2 stars. Has anyone stayed at this resort or do you have any additional information that you can offer? |

This was about 7 or 8 years ago when we stayed there....only 1 night! I hope it has improved, we got in late but when we got to our room, we had to call the front desk to have them change the linens because there was hair in one of the beds :madmad I also remember it being loud and very bright because it was right next to Old Town. I wouldn't classify this as a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination, the paint job was quite tacky. I would maybe look around for something in Lake Buena Vista if you are staying off property.
Keeping in mind again that this bad experience we had was about 7 years ago or so, maybe someone can give you a better, more recent review. :) :) :) :) :) Heather |

We had a reservation there for after our stay at Disney, which included tickets to Sea World. The room was so disgustingly dirty, inside and out, that we immediately called who we had booked through and changed to a much nicer place near Universal. DON'T STAY AT DAYS SUITES AT OLD TOWN!!!

We have stayed at Quality Suites (Old Towne). It was not fancy, but it was really nice to us.

We have stayed there once too... It is loud!!!! It is dirty!!!!. although the rooms are big... But we ended up staying up all night because some cars were broken in to while we were there. Luckily it was not our car, but I do not recommend it unless you just can not find another room.. At Old Town they have an antique car show every friday and sat night that is free if you are interested in that kind of thing, but like I said earlier, I will not stay there again.:devil
