Quicksilver is the best

Just wanted to let everyone know we took your advice and used Quicksilver last week. They were the best! Pickup at the airport was waiting for us, helped with bags and was very courteous. We used them later for a round trip for 10 to Citywalk and though the rest of the group was nervous about wether they would be back for us. They were on time and I got lots of praise for the idea. I also called them to pick up some friends for their ride back to the airport and that went well too.

So make sure you give them a try on your next trip. I know we will.

good to hear the good exp. with quick-silver they are the best down here in the area and the only company I will use to go to and from the airport. that and they are cheaper then parking at the airport.

My boss will be using them in 2 days. Gregory is awesome! I've called him many times (once he answered the phone from the hospital after his wife had a baby....now that is service!!)

My travel agent just booked Quicksilver for our trip in November. Do they automatically add on a 20% tip? Can you pay for your round trip with a credit card?

They accept visa, master card, american express and discover. They are all listed on their website. They have a link on the home page. I just booked them for my January trip and was told they don't accept "pre-paid" trips. They like payment after the drop off. I don't rtecall seeing anything about an automatic tip. You should pay that in cash anyway.

Glad to hear tyheir service is so great. Its making me very happy about changing over to them.

Hi Erin's Mom,

We do accept all credit cards mentioned above (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover). You may pre-pay, but since it is not necessary to give us any credit card information to book your reservation, you may pay the driver directly (either cash or credit).

20% gratuity is only added to Stretched Limousines. For Towncars and Vans the gratuity is not included (an average of 20% is standard, but again it is optional).

I too am a bit confused on the tipping process. I would appreciate some advise on the best way to tip. I'm assuming for round trip, it will be 20% of the round trip price. If you pay after your first drop-off, and you tip 20% then, how will you be sure you get the same driver when you get picked up? Or, is it just best to tip half of the 20% after you arrive at your hotel and the other half when you get picked up to go back home?

When I used a towncar the last two trips at WDW, I tipped for each drop-off (airport and resort). I tipped 1/2 each way.....$10 and $10 to be exact.

15min to wdw - You don't have to pay cash for a tip, but I suggested that because the cash is alwasy nice. I lived off tips as a bartender in another life and alwasy appreciated the uncomplicated cash tip.

Quicksilver Gregory - I must have misunderstood our PM. I thought you wanted payments after services. I am so sorry for misdirecting Erin's Mom on that.

Hi Dana,

Your are correct, we only process credit cards after the customer has arrived.
When I say prepay I really mean : "you do not have to pay the driver when you arrive since we already have your credit card information".
I hope this is making sense to you all....

Hi Joann! I am trying out Quicksilver in January and will be happy to let you know how it goes. I used Tiffany's twice and am trying out Quicksilver as reccomended by Mousketrips. So far every report that I have read has been positive, so I am certain that they will live up to their good name.
