Disney Transportation

My friend and are are planning to do the Segway Around the World tour and were wondering what time the transportation to the parks begins (Epcot will be opening at 9am the days we are there)? We would like to do the 8:30 am tour but if transportation isn't happening by then we'll shoot for the 9:30. Thanks!

Bus service I think begins at 8 AM to the parks but if you are doing the tour they may be able to drop you off earlier, Where does it say you need to be for the begining of the tour at the future world entrance or would the international gateway work? (World showcase entrance between england and france)

I would say that you will have no problem getting wherever you need to get using Disney transportation. I am sure that for that tour they will have a specific spot that you meet. It would be wonderful if you would write a special review about this expirience, because I am interested in doing this special tour on our next trip.

Bus serivce actually begins around 7 am or even earlier to the parks!!! We had early Ps's last year and had no trouble getting there early!!!

its not supposed to go to the parks at 7am its supposed to go to the area hotels to drop people off for there breakfest, the exception to that would be early opening's.

I believe .. and my memory isnt all that great but it seems we have always been told bus service begins 2 hours before park opening. I could be wrong ..it happens often :)

They take to the parks at that time as well!!! We had reservations more than once at PARK restaurants that were earlier than park openings and we took the bus!!! So I believe Tink is correct too!!!!

How do you get into the park if it isn't open yet?? Is there someone at the gate that allows you in the gate.

Yep, they generally have a list of folks that have PSs or are signed up for tours. Make sure you take your confirmation number with you just in case, though. Occasionally the lists will miss a person or two.

Also, the busses DO run quite a bit before park opening just to accomodate the folks that have breakfast PSs or are doing tours. Just double check with your front desk for timing. So, QuakerOaties, sign up for whichever tour you want. You'll be able to get there....
