QuickSilver Questions...

Gregory, you have just about got me sold. I was going to go with Happy Limo but am starting to rethink...

My wife, two daughters (ages 14 and 10) and I will be flying into Orlando (via Independance Air) on November 23rd and flying back home on November 29th. We will be staying at the Contemporary Resort in WDW.

My family and I have recently returned from a two year assignment in Saudi Arabia. This was not easy for my wife and daughters (for obvious reasons) so I really want to reward them with a great Disney experience from start to finish.

Questions:

1. Where do you typically stop for groceries?

2. Happy Limo will fax you a sheet so you can pre-order the groceries and have them ready to pick up. Does QuickSilver offer the same service?

3. What is your price for a towncar? I saw them listed on your website but did not see them on the pricing page.

4. I have read on the Intercot site that Happy Limo regularly upgrades people from towncar to stretch Limo. What are my chances of this with QuickSilver? I really want to go with a stretch limo but can't justify the cost (WDW is very expensive... as I am sure you know).

I will be making my decision soon so please let me know as soon as you get a chance.....

Thanks... husband of American Gypsy

Hello AmericanGypsy,

We will be more than happy to help you plan the best vacation ever for your family, and we can at least make sure that the start and finish be the best you can get.

Albertson's is the grocery store where you can pre-fax your order, and it will be ready for you when we stop there. Their telephone number is (407) 857-5666. They will be better assisting you with your order.

We usualy stop at Publix, but as long as if it is on our way, which Albertson's is, we will be happy to stop anywhere else.

Our roundtrip rates for all WDW resorts is listed on our website. Just click here www.quicksilver-tours.com/ratesquotes.asp and you will be directed to the correct page. Our rates are ALL inclusive, only gratuity for the Towncars and Vans is not.

We could reserve you a one way with the Limo and the return trip with a luxury sedan. This way you can cut costs and enjoy a Limo at the same time. The benefit of booking a Limo upfront is that if this is your dream you will get it for sure. We rarely upgrade, but it can happen (but why gamble).

Another extra only Quicksilver offers is a free 10 minutes long distance call or a free 5 minutes international call.

And since I want to convince you a bit more we are a very reliable company we have just been included in the 2005 Unofficial Guide To WDW (very nice for an upcoming, and new company like ours - very few companies have or had the honor. ), and also in the Luxury Guide To WDW.

For any further questions or concerns feel free to contact us at any time.

My best regards,

Gregory Nicolas.

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

Just wanted to welcome you to Disney Central. I am going with Quicksilver on my trip in January. I have heard nothing but positive reviews about their service. You should give them a shot.

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

Gypsy:

When we last went in May, we had the honor of not only using Quicksilver, but it was Gregory himself that picked us up at the airport.

Let me tell you that Gregory is an A+ guy. His cars are spotless and the service is great. Quicksilver's "honor policy" is one of the most admirable things I've seen in business lately. He doesn't ask for a credit card up front and doesn't have any cancellation fees, he only asks that you respond in kind and give him fair notice if you do need to cancel/reschedule.

On the trip back, the driver that picked us up was actually about 20 minutes early and the car was equipped with a DVD, so DW and the kids were able to watch about 25 minutes of Finding Nemo in the backseat. The Surround Sound quality was awesome. Even though I couldn't see the movie from the front, I still felt like I could imagine everything that was going on.

Gregory and his team certainly make the trip feel luxurious, so I really wouldn't worry about the "potential" limo upgrade. Honestly, I find it hard to believe that Happy Limo would upgrade that often. If word got out that it were actually true, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot, because then no one would actually order a limo, even though that's what they wanted. Maintenance on a limo is significantly more than a standard sedan. Regular free upgrades can really cost a company money.

I say go with Gregory and Quicksilver. They are a terrific organization.

That is a good idea about going with a Limo to the resort and sedan back two more quick ones:

1. Do you think that luggage for three girls and myself will fit in a sedan or limo? I suspect at least 3-4 medium to large suitcases.

2. You mention above that rates are all inclusive for Limo's. The rate on your web site for Limo's has a notation that 20% will be added for gratuity. I am assuming this is on top of the rate displayed (i.e. not inclusive). Is this correct???

Thanks.....

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

American Gypsy -

Last year, I brought 1 VERY large, 2 medium and one small suitcase. All of them fit into the truck of a towncar. The driver could have easily have put my carry-ons back there as well, but I wanted to hold them. Hope this helps.

Hi there,

The luggage will be fine in a towncar or limo, if you feel you'll have more, let us know and we can change your resevation to a van.

What I said above was, and I quote :
"Our roundtrip rates for all WDW resorts is listed on our website. Just click here www.quicksilver-tours.com/ratesquotes.asp and you will be directed to the correct page. Our rates are ALL inclusive, only gratuity for the Towncars and Vans is not."
That means that it's all inclusive for all towncars and vans. Only for the Limousines we charge an extra 20% gratuity. Sorry if I didn't make it clear.

Please give us a call at 1-888-GO TO WDW and I will be glad to answer any more questions you might have.

Regards,

Gregory Nicolas.

No, sorry. But like everyone said, you'll get the best there is, and on top of it, help support Disney Central.

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

We are using QS for the first time and I am pretty excited, we have never had someone with a sign waiting for us to arrive. It will be a great start to a fun vacation!!

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

We used Quicksilver and were very happy. I, too, loved being picked up with a sign waiting. On a recent trip we had to rent a car. Oh, how I wished I could have just jumped in a towncar right away like last time.

Re: QuickSilver Questions...

Ok, convinced... I made reservations with QuickSilver for our trip NEXT TUESDAY!!! I wanted to make the arrival as magical as possible for my family (they just spent 2 years with me in Saudi Arabia which by the way is not a great place for your wife and two daughters). Soooo.... I booked a stretch limo for the trip to WDW and a towncar for the return. Save a few dollars for a meal and still get the magic!

This was recommended by Gregory by the way... thanks Greg.
