Happy Limo?

Has anyone used them recently? I wanted to choose them because I read that they frequently upgrade to a limo for free and I was hoping that maybe they'd do that for us as I have never ridden in a limo in my whole life but can't afford to book one. There are 5 in our party, so we have to go with a van rather than a towncar. Does anyone know what store they stop at? Any stories good or bad would be appreciated.

Re: Happy Limo?

I used Happy Limo twice in the past two years- the service was timely and professional. I do not remember what grocery stores we stopped at...sorry. I would use them again if I wasn't renting a car. We have had such good rates on rental cars lately, that the last three trips we rented instead of using a towncar. Check out the discount codes through Mousesavers.com.

Re: Happy Limo?

I have used Happy Limo twice. Both times we were extremely "HAPPY" with the service. I would highly recommend them.

Last time we used them, I surprised my family with a stretch limo from the Orlando airport to the Wilderness Lodge. It only cost a few bucks more and was worth every penny.

With 5 people, you will need a limo. Towncar only holds 4 passengers plus the driver.

We stoped at Publix I think. The driver let us use his frequent shopper card for discounts.

Re: Happy Limo?

FYI-I'm using Prestige Towncars (in 4 days ) as they're cheaper and I've read they also give upgrades to limos. I've never used them, but when I posted asking about them, got back only glowing reviews. Everyone says they're great and only $80.00 r/t to any WDW resort.

Re: Happy Limo?

I just used HAPPY LIMO in December. I was very happy. Prompt service. There were only two of us, so we had a towncar.
I would use the service again.

Re: Happy Limo?

Just for a quick smile, Happy Limo has a stretch hummer. Seats 20 people.
Now that's the way to go!

Re: Happy Limo?

Just be careful with happy limo I hear they give you your rate then add on tolls and charges for the airport. Most other companies down here don't do that.

Re: Happy Limo?

My bill had a gate fee for the MK since we stayed at a MK hotel. However it was still less expensive than other services. About 50 each way.

Does 50 each way include the tip?

Quicksilver is $95 round trip to most of the WDW resorts without any additional fees. The tip (typically $10 each way) brings the tab to 115 over all.

Just a side note. Happy Limo had an increase in their rates recently. With all the extra fees, airport surcharges, and tolls their total got at leat $20.00 higher than before. Their base rate is now $100.00, which you have to add all those extra fees.

Quicksilver also does not add 20% gratuity automatically for Towncars and Vans, only for stretched Limousines.

Quicksilver Transportation is the official sponsor of Disney Central for about a year now. We had many happy customers over this period. Please help us continue to support this wonderful website where all of you gather so much information for your trips to WDW.

Have a great day.

Re: Happy Limo?

I booked a van and the cost was about 120 round trip but that does not include the tip.
