Airfare Q
We are going in mid-April and we and other have gotten great airfares from LaGuardia ($135 - $155). However we have a friend who wants to go a little later like the 23rd till the 30th and I can't find any non-stops less than $300. Is there something special about that timeframe that you all know about? Or is it just that the cheaper fares have not been released for a bit later??
Thoughts?

school vacations!!!!
The airlines OVER-charge BIG time when there are a lot of school vacations going on. One of my big complaionts about the airlines is how hard they make it for a family to fly somewhere during their school vacation, and another reason why we always have to take the kids out of school.

The Easter holiday brings HUGE costs in airfare. Your friends either need to go the dates you have, or pay the huge costs and deal with the crowds.

Spring Break for most high schools and universities can be anywhere from the 3rd week in March to the last week in April. Supply & Demand dictates that these weeks will reflect the highest air-fare costs.
