Just want everyone to know that I have just heard two 'near' nightmare stories reguarding Limo to airport transfers!
My sisters family of 4 never were picked up at POR for their return trip to MCO. When they made the frantic call to Tiffany, they were told they were already picked up and dropped of at MCO! And, they had no available cars to send for them. They ended uyp in a taxi ($50) and just barely made their flight. Also, Tiffany has not been exactly cooperative or sincere in reguards to my sisters call to them after returning home requesting a refund. 9 days later, no refund check yet!
The second story involves a good friend of mine. Her family of 4 booked a Limo transfer through the Disney reservationist (she cound't remember the limo companies name when I spoke to her). Their Limo was 40 minutes late when she made her frantic call to the limo company, who told her "oh yea, we have been waiting for your call, your limo will be 10 minutes late." At that point the limo was already 40 minutes late. The limo did finally arrive, just as they were getting a taxi. Theylso just made their flight!
Tiffany tells you that they confirm your pickup when you are dropped off, and no confirmation is necessary, as did the other limo company. My sister did not confirm with Tiffany (as she should have), but my frieds family confirmed TWICE!
MORAL>>>>Confirm you pick ups!! Don't assume anything! Rushing through an airport to try and make your flight, especially with small children, is no fun!

Sorry to say, but that is partly the reason we rent a car for our stay. We don't like to rely on anyone to get us to our destination. Sometimes the cost of a car rental can be a little bit more, but well worth it.

I have always been impressed with quicksilver and have heard many stories about other companies similar to the ones in the orginal post. My last trip with quicksilver the driver told me if I wanted to I could pay on the return trip. With Quicksilver I really don't worry about anything they find my APT with no problem, they have been on time for all my flights late night and early morn, and that includes flights that have arrived EARLY as well as LATE.
