Am I correct in assuming that when you check in at ME at the airport, it checks you into the hotel?

I heard that people went straight to the park instead of the hotel, so they must have gotten their passes somehow.

No, they will hold your luggage for you, but you still need to go to the lobby for check in.

This is from the none of my business file -- I overheard a very reasonable bunch of people (at least they seemed very calm and collected) at the table next to us at ESPN Club one day last month. They were discussing how difficult their time on ME had been that day. Apparently, there were lots of stops before their resort, lots of confusion with the luggage for some reason, and ultimately, the people felt they lost too much time.

I have never tried ME... just passing on a conversation I overheard.

We leave in 10 days, I called today to confirm ME for 14 people, flying from 2 different airports. The did not have one of the people in the system, even though we had tags/vouchers for her. I went through a couple of different people on the phone before the added her on? Point being, make sure you call to confirm!

I'm sure there are bad days but we've used it twice and both times we were more than pleased. We were at our resort in 49 minutes from stepping off the plane, that's pretty darn good.

If they have their tickets then that's possible but if you need to get your tickets as part of a package then you will have to check in.

Hi all...

I have never used ME before and I'm wondering about the bit that says "your luggage will be delivered to your room within three hours of your arrival."

Um....I'm arriving at 9:48 PM by plane and have an early morning seminar the next day. Does this mean I possibly might not get my luggage until 1:00 AM???

The Magical Express (ME) is the bus transportation system that will take you from MCO (Orlando Airport) to your Disney hotel and then back again to MCO at the end of your stay. There is no additional charge for ME. You must be staying on property, however.

Yes, you need to make a reservation. You will receive a voucher booklet. I wouldn't assume they arranged Magical Express. I would call, since they need your flight information anyway.
