Yep. With a carry on we have what we need for a day or two and mixing things up helps make sure we all have clothes in case a bag is delayed or lost.

I am a nervous wreck when it comes to my luggage. I would make sure you have a change of clothes and shoes (not to mention unmentionables) your make up/deodorant/toothbrush/ tooth paste/meds. Also your camera and batteries/charger and your phone charger. Also of course your id and credit cards/cash. pretty much anything you can cram into a carry on that TSA can't flag you on. Lol

That pretty much sums up our carry on, if we have to have it it's in the carry on.
