Magical Express with 2 airlines

Hi all,

Is it possible to use Magical Express if you are flying into Orlando on one airline and out on another? The best deal for us in September looks like flying down on Delta/Song and back on JetBlue. I didn't know if this would be a problem for using Magical Express.

I didn't use ME myself, but I know that they ask you to supply your flight info, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Then again, not sure, but, aren't there only certain airlines involved in ME?

Re: Magical Express with 2 airlines

Another ME question. About how long before your flight do they usually schedule your pickup at your resort on your departure day? I am trying to decide between flight times and am not sure if the earlier flight may have me kicking myself for having to get up at the crack of dawn. Thanks.

Karen -
I thought I read that they schedule your pick ups three hours before your departure time. I think that due to the fact that there are 4 stops to pick up guests and luggage to check. Towncars pick you up two hours prior, but it's only you to worry about. My flight is 9:30am and I am already kicking myself. I would have to leave for the airport at 6:30am. There is always the possibility of taking a taxi I guess.

Re: Magical Express with 2 airlines

You can do check in right at the hotel. They check you in on your flight & take your luggage at that time. The hotel will store your carry on for you until you're ready to leave. For us, our flight was at 9pm and we were scheduled to meet the ME bus at 6:30pm. We checked in at 10am, they took our luggage, tagged it with the flight info & held on to our carryons so we had the rest of the day to ourself. We didn't see our luggage again until we landed in Newark. The buses mainly transport carryons only & the bus drivers didn't seem too thrilled when people showed up with suitcases. Of course, this attitude could be different now because my experience was during the hectic second week when they were still trying to iron out the kinks.
