New Magical Express Question

Good Morning,

I have a quick question about the Magical Express service for my upcoming trip. We are flying Southwest in September -- are they apart of the new service? My travel agent seemed to think so. Have any of you all traveled via Southwest and used the new service yet?

I haven't personally used it, but if your travel agent thinks so, then I say go for it!
It's free, and I've heard nothing but great things about it.

SWA is not one of the participating airlines but that doesn't stop you from using the service. On your flight in the service is the same for everyone, no matter what airline you are coming in on, including SWA. When you leave the only difference is you will have to handle your own luggage.

We just returned from WDW flying Southwest and used DME both ways. It was easy, bell services loaded our bags on the coach and the skycap got our bags and put them on a cart and took them up and checked them in for us. I would use the service again, it was easy and free.

I was very pleased with our service--it couldn't have been better.

We flew SW and just got back yesterday. We used ME and ha no problems, I would use it again in a heartbeat. We did make several stops but since it is a free service, I wouldn't complain.

I heard that now all airlines are participating in the program. Is this true?

I haven't heard that. As of 10 days ago SWA was not a participating airline. However, you can use DME no matter what airline you are flying. The only difference is if you are flying an airline that is not participating you have to handle your own bags on your return trip only.
