Hi everyone,
I just found out that Alamo (the official car of WDW) now offers pickup of rental cars AT the airport...shuttle service is no longer necessary! Means saving time and money because their rates are usually super! Let's hope that their service picks up since I know that people usually complained about the wait time in lines after having to be shuttled there in the first place.

You can also drop-off at Disney now, too. I was also told that National would be staying for a while, until the merge is complete.

It was ridiculously easy to rent and drop-off (we rented from National, Emerald Aisle and dropped off at the Dolphin). I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Just wanted to let everyone know that on our recent trip to WDW we rented a new (about 600 miles) Cadillac for trunk space -- and of course, comfort. We rented it from Avis for $205 for the week. Another huge benefit occurred when we accidently locked the keys in the trunk. Within 5 minutes using the gps system onboard, Cadillac had unlocked the doors and trunk! We were checking into Animal Kingdom and had only removed about half of our luggage!

We had four adults and 2 kids and fit beautifully. That was important because we also spent three days at the beach so we had that drive to make as well.

I strongly recommend Avis and Cadillac!

I got back two weeks ago and I was told Alamo and Nat'l had merged. All pick up and drop offs are at the airport. I only rent from Alamo their prices can't be beat! A minivan for 7 days was $189. w/ unlimited miles.:D
