This Is Probably The Strangest Question????
 I am driving (rental) from Tampa to Orlando for our LAND & SEA WDW TRIP in January. (Visiting M&D for a week in Tampa first)!! I know that I can easily rent an Alamo or National car and leave it at the Dolphin or even the Disney Car Care Ctr (as I will NOT need a car while in WDW for 7 days) BUT with this option I am limited to the rates National and Alamo offer. My idea was to rent ANY car (getting the best rate as I search the NET) and leave it in Orlando at the Airport....the BIG question of this THREAD is, can DH & I JUMP on that MAGICAL EXPRESS TO AKL with no cost to us???? Does any one at all know for sure. I am taking JET BLUE from Boston to TPA, just not Orlando and that is one of the qualifying airlines for the Magical Express Bus.....hhhmmm.....  momrek06 |

Hmmmm...GOOD QUESTION! Why don't you call JetBlue to ask? Or even Disney Reservations? I am sure someone there could help you!

First: Welcome to DC!!!!!
 Second: I would say probably not to your question but you can always call Disney for confirmation. A few weeks before our trip special ME tags were mailed to us to put on our luggage - they were specifically printed with information regarding our flight and hotel. I havn't heard pf anyone here doing what you asked but you never know.

While we can help out with *most* questions  I think that one is best answered by your travel agent. I just finished travel agent school and stuff with car rentals gets confusing so you'll need the professionals to come in on that.

You should be fine dropping the car off at the Orlando airport and then hopping on the ME to the AKL. Of course, you can drop everyone off first at the AKL, so everyone doesn't have to go with you. Just add the ME onto the reservation for just you.
The other option is most car rental companies have desks close to Disney World, so you can drop the car of there, and they will shuttle you over to the AKL. Definitely save you time. When you find a decent rate, call the company and find out where their closest office to WDW, and make sure they have a shuttle. I would guess the time driving to MCO, dropping off the car, checking in at ME and taking the bus to AKL, it will be a good 90 to 120 minutes. I would think you would be able to drop off by WDW and get back to the resort within 20 minutes. Oh, and welcome to DC.

Thank You All So Much For All The Replies!!!!
 Hey Everyone: As I read through all your POSTS, (thanks) I have decided I will just go through ALAMO or NATIONAL and plan to drop the car at DOLPHIN. I will be in Orlando by noon, my room may not be ready hence I will leave everything w/conceirge in AKL and DH & I will get back in the rental car, drop it off at Dolphin and HIT THE PARKS!!! Seemed as I read the posts I would be spending allot of wasting of time with the MCO plans!!! Like one of you said, GET TO WDW AS FAST AS I CAN and start enjoying myself....righto!!! (as we say in bean-town, wicked cool) momrek06
