Delta Song into Delta

What do you think will happen when Delta Song is absorbed into Delta?

Will flights be cancelled that you may have previously bought?

Will those magical TVs go away?

I am nervious about booking Delta Song because of this activity. Anyone here work for Delta???

I love Delta Song!! I wish that they would remain a part of the company.

I think its pretty low now! If I can get something a little lower this year than I did last year thats ok right? I had some issues with just plain old song when I made ressies way early for this past trip, you know changing flight times by two or three minutes here and there and once changing our seats. So, I don't know what to expect either this time around booking this early, maybe Tuesday of this week. Its incredible to me when I look at the Song/Delta site and get fares for $610.00 for the four of us and then using Yahoo's shortcut on American Airlines where they list several carriers giving you all thier fares and Song comes up at $600.00 Per person same flights and times. I think I will book tomorrow with Song

Reading between the lines from the emails they sent it stated that Delta was absorbing Delta Song. They would still have the "song" planes with the TV's but the Delta name. They also said they were going to convert more Delta planes to have the tv's. I guess the bottom line is you will still get the Song planes,but with the high Delta price. No reference was made to changing flight schedules.

We have a flight that is taking off just after Delta takes over in May.
We were automaticly changed to the Delta Flight with the same seats, but the times were a little different (to our advantage).

I'm still worried though...........

But do you think the TVs will be there?!

Our flight with the TVs was alot smoother with my three kids!!!

If you go to Song.com there is a tab that says,Delta gives Song an upgrade. In it there is a letter from the companies president saying all is fine, not much is going to change for the worse but get better. I guess you have to take it for what it is worth.

I'm can't imagine that they will take the tv's out of the planes? I guess they could use those planes for longer flights though.

That would be the issue...redeploying the planes with TV's to other routes. We're hoping the TV's are there. But for insurance, we bought a few movies for the Kids' Gameboys just in case.
