Has anyone taken the bus to Sea World?

We plan on going to SW for a couple of days on our next trip to Disney. Has anyone taken the bus (read about on mousesavers), to the park, or do you rent a car? Thank you.

Bumping this up! I also wanted to add that the bus picks you at the Ticket & Transportation Center, has anyone else even heard about this?

I know Dana went to Sea World last trip.
Not sure how she got there though.

Hopefully she'll see this post or I'm sure you could send her a message.

Thank you Buzz, If I remember correctly she took a car service, I think she thought about renting a car but thought the car service would be better, because she would not get lost? ( I think). We probely will rent a car for two days, it is not much cheaper(then service) by the time we had in the cost for parking and two boster seats, but then we can stop at the store if need be.

The cost for the bus is only $1.25 per person

We rented a car for a couple of days when we went. If I remember right the problem with the bus is that it makes many stops and takes you a very long time to get to sea world and I'm not sure that it leaves the park at a time you would want to leave. Check out the schedule carefully before you go that option.

I agree. I took a Mears, I believe it was, to SW and Universal a few years ago. The only issue I had with it was that there were only two return times in the evenings--one was just too early and the other too late.

Thank you KarlieBug & PrPrincess for the info. We are going to rent a car or even better if my parents come down for a few days, we will have their car and get to see them too

Re: Has anyone taken the bus to Sea World?

I have taken the small shutte bus twice once to Sea World and once to Universal. The trip to the parks is fine. Coming home both times was a big disappointment and a very long wait. When I go with my family in October or November we intend to take a taxi to Seaworld and Universal. With four people, it ends up costing about the same and there is little to no waiting involved.

Re: Has anyone taken the bus to Sea World?

The #50 picks up at the TTC and takes 20 mins to get to seaworld about the same as driveing time from most resorts. The downside to this is getting to the TTC I think I would pay mears the $14 or rent a car.
