Good Price On Rental????

I need some advice...again...!! (LOL) Does anyone know if 450.00 sounds like a good price for a luxury car rental for 12 1/2 days???????? It is the cheapest price I have found for the first of May so far and it is through Alamo. I know most everyone here does not rent..but, I thought I would ask just in case! I don't know if I should go ahead and book it at this price or wait to see if the price will go down closer to time??

Thanks in advance...!!!

Gosh! I really do think that it is a good price since I've been seeking a 12-day rental in mid-August for a compact or full-size car and I've been finding prices equal to your quote.

Re: Good Price On Rental????

Well check on the Alamo website. I used a coupon along with the prepay option and that was the least expensive quote I have been able to come across. See if it will work for you too. I think I am just going to go ahead and book..but, everyone said that prices usually come down closer to the time you travel. It's one of those darned if you do, darned if you don't thing!!

Re: Good Price On Rental????

I have been using coupons, codes, affiliations, etc. but I did not try the pre-pay option at Alamo because there is a penalty for cancelations and my plans are not yet "set in stone". Although, even if I were "sure" that I was planning to visit WDW, I honestly do not think that I'd book a rental that penalized me if I canceled. There are too many variables (What if someone got sick? What if I found a better price? Etc.) invlolved to make that a "deal" for me.
