Tip Questions

I got two here gang:

If you tip the limo driver when they pick you up (since it is included in the cost), do you tip again when they drop you off?

If you use the service during your stay, do you pay tip up front or when you are dropped off at the endof your stay?

I'm using Quicksilver and posted this so if Greg answers others can see the answers.

Re: Tip Questions

I would tip both ways since you never know if you will have the same driver each way.

Re: Tip Questions

I would do 15 to 20% of that rides total fare and at the end of each Drivers service.

Re: Tip Questions

I usually tip about $10 each way because I usually have different drivers (as Stephanie said).

You should tip every time they take you somewhere. It could be a different driver each time....so budget what you are going to tip total and divide it up for each time you use the service. Definately tip each time. If I intend to use a service for to and from the airport, I budget $20 and tip ten each way. I think that's fair. If I were going to use them to take me to another park, I would also budget a set tip according to the cost and split it in two...drop off and pick up. If for some reason another driver had to step in, it's only fair that he/she gets tipped too...hope that makes sense.

Hello Boss Mouse,

In your case, since you reserved the limousine which has the gratuity included, you only pay the first driver the full amount and upon return the tip is already paid for (do not tip again).

As for all other vehicles, all above posts are correct, tip the drivers separately.

Best regards,

Gregory Nicolas.
