November Flight
OK - I had stopped looking at potential November Flights since they are just crazy. One month has passed and today I check and they are still nuts!
 What in the world is going on!! Is it just the price of fuel! Any ideas?

I wish I knew. I need flights in May, June, July, and August, and the prices are just freaking me out.

I am betting it is just that, the price of jet fuel.
 These airlines are barely making money as it is and fuel prices keep climbing. Just drive down to your neighborhood gas station. What were you paying a month ago? What are you paying now?  I saw an oil analyst on TV that stated the price we will be paying at the pump around July will be in the neighborhood of $3.25 a gallon. If so, I suspect jet fuel prices will continue to climb as well.  I am watching for air fare deals now for a trip at the end of July. If I see something decent I am jumping on it.  |

I had been watching flights religiously for our December trip. In January we were able to make reservations with the flight we wanted. I've lurked around the websites again since then just to watch airfares and found that all of the flights we looked at are significantly higher in price now. The flight we actually booked is almost $200 more now than in January. It has to be the fuel costs.
