Transportation to resort restaurant

Am I correct in thinking that to get to a resort restaurant from PC we have to take the bus to a theme park and then a bus to the resort?

Thanks.

Yes, you will have to go to a park. Pick the park closest to either your resort or the resort you are trying to get to. You can also go to Downtown Disney and get on a bus there.

If you don't mind spending a few dollars a taxi is the fastest way to get from resort to resort.

This'll save you up to a couple of hours! I recommend it.

If you have it, check out Unofficial Guide on the bus transportation. Apparently, the WDW bus system is weakest in going from hotel to hotel. UG has a chart with typical ranges for trip times.

Re: Transportation to resort restaurant

Thanks for the responses. Not sure on the time of day, but probably dinner after we take a break at PC. We'll head to dinner then to a park afterward. That's not etched in stone, though. If we do lunch we'll be at a park anyway and then we'll head to PC after lunch.
Re: taxi. How much is a few dollars? The time factor may influence our decision here.

Re: Transportation to resort restaurant

For lunch and dinner a cab would be quickest, however disney transport can get you there via the above listed routes.

without knowing what resort your going to its tough to tell you how much it will run you on a taxi cab. For example a quick ride to the Boardwalk might run you $5 to $10 each way, to go to the CONT, it might run you $35 or event a little more, however this would be just as easy to hop a bus to the MK, walk over to the monorail station and the CONT is the first stop (99.9999% of the time) Those are 2 extremes in cab fares but it really does depend where you are going to give a acurate estimate.
