We are flying from knoxville and my sister is flying from Arkansas. We are in the same room at POFQ. I have our magical express set-up. Her flight arrives in MCO 10 minutes before ours, but she leaves 4 hours before we do. Currently, her information is listed identical to ours because I did not know her informaiton at the time. Should I have her magical express information changed? I plan to FEDEX her luggage tags. She will wait for us at the airport, but when we leave, she will go much earlier than we will.

Has anyone had two people in the same room, but with different Magical Express information? I know we can adjust her infomation for her departure, but I am worried about her luggage. She will have tags on it, but if they do not know someone is coming on that flight, do they look anyway?

Even tho I have never used ME (we drive) I would assume that you would need to update her ME info. Otherwise it'll have your flight info, etc on it...they need to pick up baggage from the correct flight and airline as I understand that you do not see your luggage from the time that your flight departs until you arrive at your resort.
Just my thoughts...I'm sure someone with experience will chime in with info.

I called Disney directly to talk through our ME info as it was complicated. I would do that if I were you just to be sure.

I would call and update all of her information. I don't think her incoming flight will be a problem, I think Disney just pulls all of the bags with DME tags. However, leaving is another story, she will have to have correct info in the system so she gets the right time for the DME bus back to the airport.

tiptonsara, everytime I see your name I think of Tennessee and now I see you're flying out of Knoxville. Are you in Tennessee? I have family in Tipton County and that's what your name makes me think of!

I am in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The tiptonsara is 2 of my dogs names, tipton and sara. His name came from the Tipton Haynes Park near Johnson City. Why, I do not know. Tipton County is almost on the other side of the state from us. We are between Knoxville and Nashville.

In 2003, I drove from a wedding in Arkansas to my folks in Western North Carolina. Tennessee was probably one of the nicest stretch of scenery I've ever seen.

I would call ME directly, just to confirm there are two flights. It never hurts to verify....

I would check and recheck ME plans and keep your luggage with you. We used ME and our luggage came the next day. The airlines did not lose it; Disney just failed to pick it up and then wouldn't go back until the next morning. It was noon before we could get on our way to fun. On our trip home, they were going to send our luggage ahead of us. We wouldn't let them and had them put it on the same bus we were on. That worked much better.
