Re: Southwest Check-in & Boarding tips . . .
Hi....I am from a Plain field in Illinois too!! We just returned from a quicky trip this past weekend. We always go Southwest. I really like this airline, they sometimes sing to us as we take off - they are very relaxed, yet professional - and they put me at ease!! I always print out out our boarding passes exactly 24 hours before the scheduled take off time. This past trip was the first time I forgot while at WDW. I went to Guest Services at our hotel at 7AM the morning of our 10:25AM flight home and we got 'B' passes - it wasn't all bad, the flight wasn't full and we had plenty of room!!
We always arrive about 2 1/2-3 hours before our flight and go right to the 'A' line and sit on the floor with our carry-on. Others usually follow and form a line behind us. I don't mind doing this at all, as a matter of fact I think it's kinda fun, everyone starts to talk to one another and it is very social. Time really flies that way too. Well I hope you were able to get alot of info on this thread, this is a great site and I usually get great answers to all my questions here. Have a great trip.

I can't see your pic since its kinda tiny . . . we may be neighbors! Be afraid!
Well we were thinking 2 hours before the flight but this "A"Line and "B" Line thing kinda scare me. Maybe we will shoot for 3 hours with A passes. Aside from the fact we are PRe-board at least we'll be right at the front regardless. Don't tell Asp8tis though . . . I am going to load her up with fruity cocktails at the airport bar and leave her there so I can board before her and get whatever seat I want! Moohahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Re: Southwest Check-in & Boarding tips . . .
So when we are at WDW, can we still check in and get our boarding passes at the hotel for our return flight? I know they do not work with Magical Express in that you can not check your bags, but can we get the boarding passes?
I was not planning on taking my laptop, so checking in online might be difficult. Thanks

Just heard on the radio yesterday that starting in 2008, SWA will have assigned seats!

Re: Southwest Check-in & Boarding tips . . .
I always go to the business office or concierge desk the day before we fly home on Southwest to print out boarding passes. I do this to get "A"s- not because I have a burning desire to get on the plane first, but because I want to be sure to sit with my family. Most hotels only charge a dollar or two for this service. (The Hilton in Las Vegas charged $5- gotta support Paris' extravagant lifestyle, I suppose....))

We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. Will they let me do this there?
Thanks
