Southwest and ME

I not sure why but I always thought Southwest participated in Magical Express. Is this not the case? I was just reading the ME sticky on this forum and Southwest wasn't mentioned. Was it ever?

Re: Southwest and ME

When we went this year in February, Southwest was a part of ME. Everything went wonderfully with ME and with Southwest!!!

Re: Southwest and ME

You can check your bags with SW when you leave home and they will be picked up and delivered to your WDW resort as long as you use the ME tags provided.

But Southwest does not offer resort check in.

So when you leave you have to take your bags on the bus back to the airport which REALLY isn't that big of a deal. You are dropped right at the check in level at the airport.

Re: Southwest and ME

The last two times we traveled on SW, coming home we used a skycap for our bags. Normally we are the cheapest people around, but for 5 bucks the bags were brought right to the counter, we checked in in about 5 min. None of that bag shuffle, move 6 inches, move the bags, move 6 inches, etc. My DH is the type that he doesn't feel confortable until he sees the gate. So it was well worth the money.
