renting a car in WDW
We will be at WDW 11/30 to 12/5. We do not need a car the whole time. We were thinking of going to the Kennedy Space Center one day, so we would need a car. Has anyone rented a car at Disney? How did it go?

I haven't done it myself, but I know you can rent from the Car Care Center or from the Swan/Dolphin. I'd call ahead of time and ask what the fees are going to be.

The San/Dolphin center is good, and there is also a National??? rental at the main gates to WDW. You can get a shuttle to / from your resort. Make the arrangements ahead of time as they do not have many cars there.

You can rent from the Car Care center or from the Swolphin, but if you're only going one day, why not hire Quicksilver to bring you back and forth...?

National & Alamo are on site at the car care center. You can reserve online or the 800 number & they will pick you up from your on site hotel.

We picked one up when we stayed at POR and had no problem. We booked before we left and called the morning we wanted it. They picked us up at the hotel and them brought us back after we dropped it off.
