MCO/NY flights

I need a little flight decision making. My TA just quoted us flights from NY to MCO May 19-26 at $365 pp. I feel like that is a little high. Does anyone think I should wait for it to drop, or should I just get them now??

BTW, thanks again Disneyteacher...yikes!

$365 per person from NY??? That is DEFINITELY high! But then again, it's only 3 months away. The most I want to pay from New York is $180 per person.

Re: MCO/NY flights

Ah, I should have probably said we are flying from Albany which probably makes a difference. I can get cheaper flights from JFK, but that is a three hour drive for us. I just think $365 seems SO high, but am afraid if I wait too long they will skyrocket...or if I purchase them they will plummet. Decisions...

Re: MCO/NY flights

Rats! I just booked our trip this morning and decided to hold off a little on the flights. I hope I am not making a mistake, and they end up sky-rocketing! Maybe, I should just get the flights now. Oh, boy!!
It is myself, DH and three children so every penny counts!

Re: MCO/NY flights

I just went through this very issue - contemplating whether I should wait or just purchase at what I thought was too high of a price. $365 seems high. I've never paid over $218, incl. taxes, to go to FL. However, I fly out of JFK or LGA. As the price had steadily risen, I was settling with the approx. $260 price I saw last week and decided to wait it out a couple days (fares are rumored to be lower on Tues. and Wed.). In the last couple weeks, I haven't let one day go by without checking fares. Low and behold, yesterday morning I lucked up on a Jetblue anniversary sale and got my tickets for $204 each. I wound up saving $14 p/p instead of spending an extra $40 p/p. So, I'd definitely do some searching on my own if I were you. Try Orbitz. They can give you the approximate fares for all airlines excluding Jetblue and Spirit. You should check those through their individual sites.
